Rules
1. Initial placement will be based on your TENCAP rating, NTRP rating and additional information supplied.

2. There are two divisions of play: MEN’S SINGLES / WOMEN’S SINGLES

3. Matches will be regular best out of three sets with a twelve point tie-breaker at six all. In case of weather issues, court availability or other circumstances, a 10 point tie-breaker can be played in lieu of a third set, IF AND ONLY IF, BOTH PLAYERS AGREE.

4. If the person challenging wins the match, they will move up to the place of the defeated person and the loser drops one spot.

5. A person who is challenged must play within two weeks or forfeit the match. Don’t be shy about defaulting someone who does not return your calls/texts/e-mails. Bump them down and let them challenge you back. If a player has not played a match in two months, that player will be dropped to the bottom of the ladder. Not as a penalty, but as an incentive.

6. A person does not have to accept more than one challenge per week. A player must wait one week before they re-challenge any specific individual they have just played.

7. Players may challenge individuals up to five above their ranking, except any new player (or player bumped to the bottom per rule 5) who has the opportunity challenge any player.

8. Matches will be played at a time a place arranged and acceptable to both players. As a courtesy, you should play at the court of the choosing of the person being challenged. It is recommended that both players bring a new can of balls and the winner takes the non-used can and the loser will keep the opened can, unless other arrangements are agreed upon prior to the match.

9. Winners report all scores in TENCAP (http://centralfloridatennis.tencaptennis.com)

10. Compete and have fun in the spirit of the game.
